New for the New Year

I thought I'd start 2008 off with something totally new and fun - hand painted pendant necklaces. I have painted about 15 so far and I'm having a blast! It gives me a chance to explore other interests without committing to hours of work. So you will see my usual horses on the pendants as well as other animals and Holidays (from Valentine's Day to Day of the Dead). I have been having way too much fun in AC Moore and Michaels looking for pretty beads to dangle below the pendants. Each pendnat is completely hand painted. I don't use glued on, shrunk down prints of my work like many other artists are doing. It's like wearing a miniature piece of original art around your neck. The other nice thing is if your like me and have a metal allergy, the satin cord will not make your skin itchy. So, please check them out if you have a minute. I am listing them on ebay as I paint them. If they become popular I may offer a few special pieces for purchase through my website.
Have a great day!
Jen

Hi Jen, I am proud to present you with this award!

This little award is called The Daily Dose - and here is all the important info to tell you what it is about and where it came from. This is a tribute to all the blogs that you've discovered that you can't possibly live without. They make you laugh, cry, think and feel connected every time you read a post. They give you a thrill as you see them loading into your browser and you get an equally satisfying thrill when you see that they have commented on your blog". From Xandra: creator, The Daily Dose Award.

You can find the pic for the award on my blog http://retrorudolphs.blogspot.com/

Cheers!!
