I know you're thinking it's a bit early for Halloween but it is my favorite time of year (well, okay, Spring is too). I was feeling the Sleepy Hollow vibe this week and thought I would create a fun folk art painting for those out there that love the Hunted Horseman as much as I do!
Check him out, he's on Ebay right now!
And if you're a fan of Halloween, please check out the offerings of my fellow EHAG artists on Ebay and Etsy.
You know,I couldn't write a blog post without adding a few pictures from the garden.
My cat found that baby bunny yesterday but she didn't harm it thankfully. I put that cat back in the house and tried to take a few pictures before she crawled back into the ivy. I hope her momma came back to care for her!

I love your Sleepy Hollow painting. Your Bee photo is wonderful!
I always look forward to your posts. Your artwork is fantastic..very inspiring..I'll visit often!
Oh Jen I love it!! I'm so already thinking about Fall and Halloween. It is wonderful!!
The baby bunny - so very sweet - hope it's ok. I do adore bees!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Sarah
I know that it's easier for me to get excited about a holiday when it's not actually happening. I'm usually ready to make Christmas ornaments in February. So, I can understand you having creative and inspiring thoughts about Halloween now. I love your work. And best wishes for the baby bunny.
Great photos, love the headless horseman and glad the kitty didn't hurt the baby bunny. One of my worst memories of my childhood cat was the poor baby bunny screaming when it got caught by him.
Fall is one of my favorite times of year too. And I love to decorate with all sorts of stuff around Halloween, almostt more than Christmas..
Oooooh that is SO cool! And you got a great photo of the bumblebee - I love them so :)
Great work, the sign is bound to sell in an instant, it is so amazing!
its never too early for Halloween! :D the sign looks great.
the bunny looks really really young, hopefully the mother came back for it. if its around the same area it was found the mother probably found it *crosses fingers*
Jennifer,
Sorry about earlier...I owe ya badly...I love this "Sleepy Hollow" sign. The story was my favorite story as a child in Pennsylvania. I sent you the link to the celtic website. Very cool folklore stories..Im from Irish and Scottish descent. Love the old tales of hobgoblins and banshees and such.
Smiles,
Sonia ;)
Ooooh, LOVE it all...the art, the very sweet li'l bunny and the bees.
Just installed bees today-will blog about it soon...
As always, your blog is ever-enchanted ;D
Love the Headless piece! Glad to see I'm not the only one with Halloween as a favorite holiday. :)
Hi Jennifer, I've really enjoyed reading your posts. Really lovely photographs - I particularly enjoyed the pictures from the steeplechase. I suppose 'tailgating' means something different in the US than it does in the United Kingdom! (Here it means driving very close to the car in front in an angry manner!) Thanks for visiting my blog.
Always love to see your Halloween things, anytime of year ! It is so easy to tell they are your favorite things to paint !
So hoping baby bunny is ok.
Great Sleepy Hollow sign !
Wizz :-)
been a bit busy and not popped in for a while, and wow, what have I been missing, I love that sleepy Hollow type painting, really gorgeous Jennifer
The sleepy Hallow is awesome! I love it! I need to find something like at the top of your blog. Foal with butterfly wings for my daughters room. Would be very cute. I'll check out your stores. :)
Love the painting. Oh and the bunny is adorable!
