wow, what crisp photos, they're awesome! i didn't know the Philadelphia Zoo was the oldest in the U.S.; next time we're there, we will try to visit. My brother in law lives in Philadelphia.
Jennifer, We used to go to the Phillie zoo every summer as trip. Loved it......then we would go camping on the Delaware River. Used to go this amusement Park called "Ghost Town in the Glen"..not sure if its still around....
Oh that ape's face made me stop in my tracks. It is so old - spiritually. He looks tired and knowledgeable and amazing! The sheep made me laugh - they look like they are having a conversation, "Hey Phil, you know what I saw the other day? You aren't gonna believe this!" "Steve, will you shut up already, you've got grass in your mouth and I don't want to see it!" Great photos, you always have such great composition :)

I see that you are an artist in every aspect of your life. Stunning photography. What camera are you using?
What beautiful pictures! Thanks so much for sharing!
What do you suppose that gorilla was thinking of? Those are such great pictures! Thanks for throwing the sheep in there, they are my favorite.
I love the gorilla. I always find myself partial to their deep serious stare. They are totally mysterious to me.
Fantastic collection of photos!
~D~
Awesome photos! What kind of camera do you have? I'd love to know.
