Just returned from 6 lovely days at the beach! We had a ton of fun, well, except for the biting flies on Assateague, sunburn and over priced mediocre food (I know, I'm cheap and picky). Hey, I can't complain - it was vacation!
And it rained a bunch at home so all my flowers and veggies were happy.
My daughter Zoe, singing to the ocean. This was too cute not to share!
Why do I look so grumpy on the ferris wheel? Maybe because I hate paying so much for such a short ride.
The townhouse we stayed at is in the background on the bay side of Ocean City, MD.
This is the closest I got to a pony on the beach! I love this carousel though.
See how far away the wild ponies were. Guess they knew where to get away from the biting flies.
Here's how close I got last year!
I'm way behind on everything. Please be patient with me if you recently sent me an email.

Hoping you & yours have a wonderful 4th of July holiday weekend!
Chris :-)
Looks like you had a great time. The gulls photo is fantastic!
that bird shot is stunning!
Singing to the ocean! I'm sure the ocean never heard a more wonderful song...
I had a great vacation to Chincoteague as a kid, age 10. Never made it over to Assateague. It was great though, we went to the Misty farm and met the ponies, caught blue crabs in a slough, then cooked 'em up - DELICIOUS! And got a good ol' sunburn and a TICK too... Eeek!! Anyway, Ocean City was great too - I discovered Cannoli there. Wow!! Not a bad vacation for a California suburbs kid. It was wonderful.
Great pictures! Love the one of Zoe singing =)
Looks like you had a great vacation! Happy Fourth!
I've said it before but I'll say it again...your camera & photo skills are awesome! I wouldn't have been smiling on the Ferris Wheel. They scare me! Happy 4th!
Sounds like a FUN trip! I love and miss the beach (west coast.) I would so enjoy seeing wild ponies like that!!
Great photos - i love the perspective on the carousel horse - it is beautiful! And your beach birds - gorgeous :)
Of course, Zoe singing was so cute, and I am sure you'll get another chance at the wild ponies - it just means you'll have to go back next year, darn, lol ;-)
Im playing catch up on blogs. I love the photos as always. Glad you had a good vacay.
