Jenny Wren

After hearing the baby wrens for over a week now, I finally saw them peek their little heads out of the birdhouse. Aren't they just the sweetest things?

"I'm feeling a bit peckish! Where's my breakfast?"

"Hey, me too. Where's Mom with our grub?"

"Keep your feathers on, I'm right here!"

"Whoops, I dropped it. Why is this crazy lady standing so close to my house with that big black thing in her hands? She's making me nervous!"

"Open wide, breakfast is served!"

"Now that's service!"

Great series of pics, Jen! Our wren babies left the nest a few weeks ago. It looks like yours won't be long. :-)

Those are great! I have a wren family setting up house in a birdhouse next to the back patio. I can't wait to see the little baby wrens when they come out.

OMG are these photos absolutely adorable. Peeking out of the birdhouse is so cute. I am a huge bird fan so these photos I love. They sure know how to take care of each other don't they?

Those are sweet! Great captures. Our swallows have already flown away. No casualties this year, thankfully.

What a great story your photos here tell! I think a wren is building a nest in.....an electrical box here. Not so cute as your house! Don't know if the female will accept this one, either!
