Visit to a Bison Farm

Zoe and I were so lucky today to get an invite to visit Lisa of Life on a Bison Farm. I met Lisa in blogland and only realized last week that her farm is about 40 minutes from my house! I guess I thought most bison farms were some place out west, silly me. If you haven't been to her blog yet it's a must see. Some really wonderful photography that will put my next few photos to shame.
The animals there weren't used to strangers and were a bit shy.

First time I've seen a babydoll sheep. They make me laugh because they look like their smiling. :0)

Darling little goat.

Watusi cattle. My, what big horns you have!

This cat had the sweetest face, so serious! I had to take a photo of him. Lisa takes excellent care of her 20+ + cats. Some of them even live in their own house. It was like cat paradise there.
Thank you so much Lisa for showing us around your farm!

Some things I've been working on this weekend. An Appy Halloween sign and a few more horsey Halloween pendants for ebay. I may put something for sale on my blog again since that worked out so well and saves me those high ebay fees.

What a great journey to the bison farm. Those goat and sheep photos are really wonderful. I sometimes venture out to the childrens zoo here where I live so I can get up close and personal with the sheep. They are so cute :)

It was a delight to meet you and have the chance to get to know you & Zoe. I think your pictures are great. You are welcome back anytime, maybe if the gang sees you again they won't be so shy!

The sheep look as though they are smiling, and the cat looks as though it is frowning! :)

Thanks for your pictures. And I envy you for living so close to Lisa. She's been a friend of mine in Bloggerville for quite awhile now. I just wish I didn't live so far away, I'd go help her out once in awhile. Your work is beautiful! Linda in Washington state

You could try Etsy.com. It might take you a little longer to get a client base but I think it's probably cheaper than ebay. Maybe start with a few little things and as your base grows, put more on. Love the pictures of Lisa's farm. The baby dolls crack me up as well! My mom's a horse person and I'll be sending her your link for shopping. ;)

Ok, I just thumped myself on the forhead for you as I saw, you already know all about etsy. :)

I found your blog through Lisa, she and I have known each other a while through our blogs. What a beautiful gift you gave her. What stunning artwork you do. I wish I could buy some but I live in England and I NEVER use e-bay. Nice to meet you.

Ahhhh....how cute! Those little sheep do look like they are smiling (and they sort of look like a two-headed sheep also, not really, but if you squint, you can see it). I really like those horsey Halloween pendents. I'll have to check eBay out.

At first I thought that was a two-headed sheep. Cool farm.
