New!

Just finished up some new pendants for my Etsy shop and thought I would share.
When I get a spare minute I'll be listing them. I really enjoy painting these little guys. Hard on the eyes but really fun. Whenever I wear one, people ask me where I bought it. Guess I need to remember to carry around business cards.

This black horse was inspired by one of those old Baroque dressage horse paintings by artists like Johann Georg de Hamilton. Click here for one of his paintings that I would love to have!

I brought this old box into my studio months ago for books and it's become a favorite place
for my sweet little kitty Zazu to sleep, curled up, under my art table, right by my feet.
Now I can't get rid of this ugly box.
You gotta love her:)

Lastly, thank you to all who commented on my last two posts - it really meant a lot to me. Two things near and dear to my heart, my daughter and horses. Someday soon I feel it's all going to come together!

Hi Jennifer,
Your new horse pendants are stunning!
They are lovely detailed works of art.
Zazu is very cute curled up, like a little fur package! >^.^<
Have a good creative week.;)

Beautiful pendants. You deserve a horse if anyone does. Two years will give you lots of time to look and plan.

Great pendants!

I have a hideous box that the cats love. I threw a sweater in there one day when I walked by and meant to pick up later, but it has become their 2nd bed. I can't get rid of the box or get my sweater back now!

I just love your art and designs. Someday.....I have Norwegian Fjordhorses so I just have to be prejudiced in their favor! However, Haflingers are next best. They would have been my breed of choice if I did not have the Fjords--which is a story in itself. If you lived closer to me; I would love to share!!

Oh I love Fjords too! If I could find one in my price range, I may go that route. Just what I'm looking for - a small, sturdy, sweet horse.
Rue, I think we need to find some pretty papers to decoupage our ugly cat boxes. I'm getting sick of looking at Dora!
