Garden Slumber

Somewhere,
under all that snow,
sleeps
the most beautiful garden.
This I know.

There can be no other occupation like gardening in which, if you were to creep up behind someone at their work, you would find them smiling. ~Mirabel Osler

One of the most delightful things about a garden is the anticipation it provides. ~W.E. Johns

Beautiful pictures, especially the first one! :-D Cute as a button!!
Yes, under all the snow there must be green grass and flowers sleeping there.
We got more snow last night; I am so tired of "white" I would love to see some green even if it is brown/green! LOL
stay warm...

I love the second quote. I had a friend tell me that she once came by my house to see me, but she saw me gardening in the back, and I looked so happy she just couldn't disturb me. That's when I knew I was in love with gardening.

BEAUTIFUL photos! Is that a hummingbird moth I see there! We haven't had them visit us in a few years. I love them so much. We get Monarchs, Swallowtails and dragonflies mostly. But these moths are such special little creatures. :)
Ahhhhh...flower gardens. I CANNOT wait!

Thanks for the reminder of what is to come. We've had some false spring weather this week (I know it can't last yet) and I've spent it pulling old plants and tidying in the garden. Dreaming....
