Snow, snow and more snow!

Two major snow storms less than a week apart. I'm getting a wee bit tired of the white stuff now. At least the husband gets off work and I have time to create.
Here are some pictures from last Saturday's snow...

View from the front yard.

Icicles on the back porch.

Sunset from the back yard.

And here is what I see out my studio window today...

Dining room window...

Out the front door...

Maybe we should try making snow ice cream. Here's another recipe for snow ice cream.

Your photos are lovely.

Here in Seattle, we haven't had a bit of snow this year but we had enough last year to last us for a while yet. It is beautiful- it's too bad that it's so inconvenient.

Wow - you really got a lot of snow!!! Our storm is just underway now. Very light snow to begin, but we're supposed to get hit really hard later today. We shall see. :) Your photos are really pretty. Hopefully, I will get some good shots of what may be our last big snow of the season. Theresa

Beautiful sunset pictures Jen! Wow, you have been getting snow! I agree, enough snow, though me being in Minnesota it's not unusual to see that cold white stuff right up to the first of May...

Lovely pics Jen. Isn't this storm crazy?? I couldn't see the barn for the longest time or the buffalo. Stay hunkered in & safe. I'm venturing out soon to make sure all the animals are okay.

Lovely snow pics! It is cold and rainy out today, but the weatherman says we may get snow down to 3000 feet (we are at 4000). This may be our one snowfall of the year. :)

look at all that beautiful snow! i wish we had that here. we have hurricane force winds going down here in NC. sounds like the house is going to collapse at times.
i make snow cream with just snow, sugar, milk and vanilla. it's delicious. happy painting!

Really pretty photos! I can't imagine how much of a hassle this is for you though - all that shoveling!

Hope it melts and you get some Spring soon!

I have serious snow envy! You can send a few inches out west to me! I have seen nary a flake yet this winter. Stay safe and warm and thanks for sharing these beautiful pictures!

Your photos are gorgeous! We did not get much snow this year so far, and what did come down did not stick.

Hope you have signs of spring soon.

It's soooo beautiful! Too bad you can't ship some up to Canada. I hear they're hurting for snow on the Olympic slopes. Sending warm wishes your way!

What gorgeous views, can I come stay with you guys for a while? I never see snow and to be able to sleep and awaken on those scenes would be glorious.

Your pictures are beautiful...it makes it hard to hate the snow, but up here at the Jersey Shore, it looks the same, and well...when is Spring going to come our way? I think that we have had enough of the white fluffy stuff.
