Pumpkin the Bee Hunter

It's hard to believe that the little ball of orange fur we brought home on Labor Day,
is turning into such a big tiger!

The weather has been so nice the last few days, I let the cats out with me while I worked in the garden. The late winter flower blooms have awoken the honey bees and Pumpkin is on patrol to protect us from them...

I can't believe I got the bee in the last photo. Click on the picture for a larger image,
it's right around his whiskers.

(No bees were harmed in the making of this blog post.)

Oh my, he certainly is getting big, isn't he?! Hehe ... at least he's not jumping up trying to catch them to eat them like my Tooki does, nutcase that he is. Now our newest adoptee is taking up Tooki's favorite past time. Is there such a thing as a bug-cat (you know like bird-dogs)?

:D

Cute kitty. :) They grow so fast don't they? I'm always telling him to beeeeee careful (or something like that ;) ) trying to catch bees.
I'm a bit fascinated with bees lately and I see yours are a completely different look and color than mine. I took a photo at a neighbor's house last week and hers looked completely different than mine. Strange!

I love all your beautiful snowdrops!
