Today in the Garden

I missed my Blooming Wednesday yesterday since it was raining
so I thought I would share some pictures from the garden this morning.

Who doesn't love lavender?
Burgundy blanket flower in the background.

A nearly black hollyhock and a
"Cherry Bells" Bellflower (warning, this will take over your garden).

“He who shall hurt the little wren,
Shall never be beloved by men.”
~William Blake

This pincushion flower is so nice, I had to show it twice.
I love how much is going on in this one flower!

I love flowers too! And I love visiting your "blooming Wednesdays" posts because you always seem to have a flower I haven't seen or heard of. Like that darling pincushion flower!

Your lavender looks great - I keep wanting to plant that kind, I only have Spanish lavender right now. I actually posted garden photos today as well.

So beautiful, Jen! I love that sweet little wren. Our lavender is scenting the yard so beautifully - I really want to dry some and try and make sachets. :) I really really like that pincushion flower - such a gorgeous shade! Theresa

Love the pincushion flower!

Must be something about bell-shaped flowers... I have a plant that has white bell-shaped flowers and it spread everywhere - I ripped out most of them, but they are so darn pretty I had to leave some. I'll be ripping them out next year too, I guess...

The kitty is precious. Those pincushions are in full bloom all over. I see so many around here. Your photos of them are gorgeous.

What a darling little cat!
I confess I am an odd-ball, but flowers don't "do it" for me, but give me trees and I'm a happy gal :D
