Exciting News!

I was asked a few months ago if I wanted to be part of a new Christmas book being put together by The Trail of Painted Ponies. Of course I jumped at the chance! They chose two of my designs to go into the book, Appy Holidays, winner of their 4th holiday design contest and soon to be mass produced,  and Snowbound, which won an Honorable Mention in their second design contest. I currently have 10 of the books for sale if anyone would like to buy one ($12 plus shipping).
I would be happy to autograph it for you, if you'd like.

Now that the cat's out of the bag, I can show a picture of the Appy Holidays figurine I created for The Trail after winning their contest. It was exciting to be able to work on this rearing form before it came out to the general public. Appy Holidays will probably be available next year for purchase! This is especially exciting for me since I have been painting horses in holiday scenarios for 10 years now!

While we're on the topic of being published, I thought I would share that I had a photograph published in another book recently, The Mule Companion.
The author, Cynthia Attar, was searching for nice mule photographs for the revised edition of her book and found my picture of a mule standing in a creek on my blog.

Here it is, taken right across the street, while Zoe and I were on one of our walks looking for "woodland creatures". See, it helps to carry your camera with you where ever you go!

Lastly, I have completed 11 new horse pendants. I feel like I have been working on these guys forever. I think my sight is going because it's getting increasingly hard to paint that small!
Here are a few, they will be available on Etsy.

You really deserve it !!! I´m going to order this book, but please forgive me, I´ll go through Amazon because it is much easier for me here in Germany, safes shipping costs and makes it easier through the customs office.
Can´t wait to see this statue ready for order :o)
