Still Blooming

I can't believe, on December 3rd, there are still some flowers blooming in the garden.

I am in love with snapdragons. They are one of the earliest annuals to plant. They come in a beautiful array of colors and the are still blooming in December. So there are only about 2-3 months of the year when a snapdragon is not blooming. That's a lot of bang for you buck!

This Scottish Harebell still has a few delicate blossoms too!

Gypsy Horse ornament on Ebay.
Haven't had the time to get much else painted.

I have added a lot of new designs to Cafepress including the ornaments you see below. Today is the last day of the sale, you can purchase them for only $7.50 each!  I also added a section with my Day of the Dead horse painting and a Unicorn Tapestry design as well.

Hope everyone has a happy weekend!
We will be putting up our Christmas tree, I'm so excited!

Appreciated this post. It's nice to see something other than gray and bleak.

Gosh, our landscapes are so different! We just had our second major winter storm with sticky snow weighing trees to the ground once again, then very cold and temps last night to -13!

Beautiful ornaments!!

I have a nasturtium in mine, but it's just been covered with snow! Love your art!

I didn't realize snapdragons lasted so long- I'll have to try some!
We still have some greenery too, and my succulents are loving the rain and break from the dry heat in California.

Wow! I cannot believe you still have such lovely color in your gardens. Everything here is long gone. And getting chilly. Your ornaments are so adorable, Jen. :) I'll have to go over and check out all that you have in your cafe press shop. :) Theresa

I'm with you on the snapdragons. Mine lasted until the big freeze hit in early November - but usually they last much longer. Love them!

My flowers were still blooming in pots too! I finally dumped them when the snow was heading our way. But I felt really, really guilty about it.

Hi there!
I've noticed flowers, here in Oregon, blooming still too! Quite a different phenomena.

I ordered last week...quite a few lovely ornaments! Not sure I got the discount though ~? Will go look at the email confirmation again.

Wow--blooming December 3rd? Amazing. It snowed like crazy here and we broke the all-time record for November snowfall.

I just ordered the Palomino ornament for my daughter. I get her an ornament every year and she has a palomino horse. :)

They are lovely! what fun to have something so pretty and so unique on the tree. I fear there is nowhere for ours this year, as there are plumbers, plasterers and electricians in almost every room, but I plan to decorate an outdoor tree with cranberry strings, fat balls rolled in seed and other bird-friendly goodies.
