Let the blooming begin!

The sun finally came out after 2 days of rain and clouds.
So many beautiful things blooming and growing in my yard!

I love the frilly insides of this daffodil and the alternating purple and pink flowers on the lungwort.

Bleeding hearts are just starting.
This early pink tulip opens up as the day goes on but only if it's sunny.

I bought this rockfoil at the greenhouse on Monday.

I planted my peas mid-March and they are starting to come up.

Planted this lettuce last week. So far, so good.
I'm sure something will come along and eat it soon.

Meemee take a break at the butterfly puddler.

This is what is growing in my neighbor's yard. Not that I mind his dandelions.

Finally finished my painting of Pumpkin Pie and it is sold!
Hope to have prints available someday soon.

I'm so jealous! I wish we had a yard. The only thing I think I need to make my life complete now is a compost pile and a garden:) I'll just live vicariously through you!

Your photos & flowers are lovely. I don't know what happened over here but nothing is blooming yet! I love your painting of Pumpkin Pie. It's easy to see why it sold so quickly. Enjoy the lovely day, they've been few & far between around here.

My bleeding hearts aren't even up yet, so I'm afraid they're toast for this year :( Oh well, will try again next year! I love seeing yours, though!

Then you have the plants that I've never even heard of, like that beautiful, colorful lungwort. Love it!!

I also love the painting of Pumpkin Pie. Did he approve? :)

I also enjoyed the wildflower walk, so relaxing.
