I had a fabulous fall day at Landis Valley Museum with my friend Sandy Sandy and her wonderful parents and sister.
Today it was the Tunis sheep that proved the most photogenic.
As we were approaching the horse barn, Sandy gazed up in the sky and said, "look at the bald eagle."
I thought she was crazy until I saw the white head.
And then we saw TWO!
A very odd site in Lancaster County.
Such beautiful colors. Like Mother Nature's stained glass with all the light coming through.
One of my favorite residents, Tanya the turkey.
It really is a magical time of year.

great pics!
Sheep have such expressive eyes. And they look so loveable. Wooly and sweet. Tanya seems thoughtful. She's probably grateful not to be on someone's plate this holiday season. Thank goodness she's safe. Nature sings to me at this time of year. It is indeed, wonderful. As always GREAT photos. Loved every one of them.
Jen, your photos keep getting better and better! From the pics, you all had a wonderful day, beautiful fall weather - lovely. Thank you for sharing the event with us!
Those sheep have the most adorable faces. Your pictures are so beautiful... a real treat to stop by your post today :)
Fab sheep photos Jen! The lighting this time of year really can be seen in these shots. Warm and Fallish. :-)
The colored leaves above the horses in the pasture are especially nice too.
