Trick or Treat?

We had a freak snowstorm yesterday. The only bad thing about it is that I had to cancel our Halloween party.
I'm sure the monarch caterpillar wasn't too excited either so I brought him inside along with some of his food and 2 brothers.

I also was able to bring in a few beautiful flowers...

Just the night before I snapped these pics at an Amish farm down the road.

They grow the most beautiful squash...

And always have a pretty display out by the road.

The cats were happy to stay indoors yesterday.

The snow was pretty but I want my fall back!

Don't blame you a bit. I am so not ready for snow. Lovely photos.
Stay warm and comfy.

Oh, that poor caterpillar!! They can hang out in a chrysalis for the winter--did you know that? I have never seen it and I'm not sure I would trust that information, but what do you do with the little guys???

Check out Monarch Watch website--they may have some info about that. I'm curious....

Beautiful photos!

I'm glad you are safe - I saw some pretty hairy photos of the snow storm that hit the East.

Hope it melts soon and you get a bit more Autumn!

Happy Halloween!

I LOVE looking at your photos, Jen! May I make a bad pun, and say that the weather played a nasty Halloween trick on you all! And I am so glad you rescued those poor caterpillars!

I saw pictures of the snowstorm on our news in the UK. We got snow early last year but it is very mild here at the moment. Your pictures are great, I love the flowers you put in the vase, they are such beautiful colours :)

LOVE the Jack-O-Lantern Snowman. Glad to hear you rescued a monarch caterpillar. GREAT photos, as always. HAPPY HALLOWEEN. Seems I've been waiting a whole year for it to arrive.

I can see you got more snow on your side of PA. Hope your caterpillars are doing alright :)

The pictures are amazing, as usual! I'm sure the little caterpillar family thanks you! And the snow here was just as crazy! What a strange Halloween!
