Blue Orchids

Yes, I know they're dyed but these blue orchids had me spell bound yesterday at the greenhouse.

And because I don't go anywhere without my camera, here are a few other shots from a local greenhouse.

After all that color your eyes probably need a rest!

I hadn't seen any flower photos from you in a while so these are a nice treat. I've never seen a variegated Shamrock before. I've still not found my camera battery charger so I'm WAY behind with photos.
Stay safe from all of those tornados!

These photos give great aesthetic pleasure, Jen. It looks almost like a little aliens in the center of those orchids. And those false shamrocks are so cute. Love the fuzzy purple plant too. I used to have one like that. Do you know what it is?

Wow. :)

I've got to get me a macro lens. Is that what you use?

Jen, dyed or not, seeing those orchids is like looking into another world. Your photos are such a pleasure, as always!

Beautiful!! I love orchids! Studio at the farm said it's like they're looking into another world. I've also found orchids to be "other-worldy" ...magic, sensual..and seeing them in blue takes that feeling one step further.
