Fun With Textures

(Carriage at The Laurels at Landhope)

Lately I've seen a lot of people on flickr merging their photos with painterly textures.
Thought I would give it a try. Here are my favorites.

(The Star Barn)

Texture by "Lenabem-Anna" on Flickr
All photos were taken by me.

(Event rider at Fairhill International 3-Day)

(Mayer Farmstead - Lancaster, PA)

(Inspired by Hopper - Lancaster, PA Farm)

Oh my stars, these are absolutely beautiful! I see "Lang" type Christmas cards here! Just gorgeous. Of course your keen eye and photo skill make all the difference.

I love these art pieces! Absolutely beautiful. I'm learning to explore with paint and textures right now. I am not half as good as I want to be, but am inspired when I see other people's work.

I like what you've done with the textures. It makes your quote on flickr even more poignant.

"I have discovered photography, now I can die." Pablo Picasso.

Gasp. WHERE did you get these textures? I'd love to know.
