Scenes from the Backyard

70 degrees, super sunny, sweet spring air - what more could you ask for?
Here's just a few shots from the backyard today...

Meadow Rue

Unusual small yellow tulip.

Zazu chases the hose.

Tender pea shoots.

Grape Hyacinth coming up in the yard.

Zazu and the gargoyle keeping watch.

One of my favorites, Bleeding Hearts.

Such pretties in your back yard. Mine looks like old dead grass and thatch. Thanks for sharing the beauty of your yard.

I need to get some bleeding hearts! Great shots--angles--lighting. I'm having a hard time getting the right lighting for some of mine lately.

Beautiful photos, especially the meadow rue. I'm so glad you've been able to get out and work in the garden! I am planting seeds like a madwoman, but haven't had time to do any weeding yet!

You're getting some good pictures here, Jennifer--the snake especially. The Bleeding Hearts--I love them, too, but I think I killed mine. I don't know what I did, so I'll blame it on Mother Nature who, btw, has been unusually cruel to us this year witholding Spring.
