There is something so magical about being in the presence of wild animals.
The deer and turkeys at Sandy Sandy's farm are quite used to her and her husband Jerry being around.
I was another story.
I had to sneak up on them and and act like I wasn't there.
It didn't last long but I got some great shots before their self preservation
instincts kicked in and they trotted away.
"Who goes there?"
"I'll stomp and I'll snort and I'll hope you go home!"

embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty.”

Jennifer, You got so many amazing shots!!! We have deer running through the neighborhood on a regular basis, but I seem them more often at night. We had wild turkeys here in the Spring and everyone was taking pictures...they were an oddity. Your photos just keep getting better and better...I love coming to your site!
My mind is boggling at the first photo. A turkey AND a deer??!?! Together? Love it.
Amazing photos. Love the young buck with his beautiful antlers. Turkeys have a reputation for being ugly, but really those feathers are quite something!
Oh, Jennifer, your photos are superb! You really got some excellent shots of the deer! I am SO loving your new camera. :)
Awesome Jen! You've done such a great job capturing all my kiddies!! Thank you!

These photos are totally magical!!!! We once went to a wildlife preservation reserve, and there was this wild turkey that wouldn't leave a deer's side. It was fun to see!
