Birthday

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile!
Yesterday was my birthday so I had to do something fun. I had my mother in law take Zoe and I to Longwood Gardens, one of my favorite places on earth. I was sick (again) last week so I wasn't able to paint much but I do have a few pretty pictures of flowers to share. Something to get everyone in the Spring mood...

Water droplets on a hibiscus.

Zoe admiring the Spring flowers.

Lovely Gerbera daisy.

Lilies that smelled so sweet with a wall of purple orchids above.

Orange orchid.

Beautiful rose.

One of Longwood's many garden cats. This guy was really friendly.

I do have a few pieces listed on ebay. Several hand painted pendants and two signs.
Here is the hunter/jumper horse sign.

Gorgeous photos!! They make me want to take a run down there myself....We should play hookey from painting one day and go in late April/early May. With a stop at the Brandywine, of course. :)

Jennifer,
Hope you don't mind, but your hibiscus with droplets reminded me of my mother's hibiscus back home that I am using it as my background on my coputer. It brings her a little closer to me everyday and I will only will use it for personal use. It took my breath away when I saw it.

If there is a problem. please say so.

Hello anonymous,
I'm so glad you like the hibiscus photo. They had just finished watering them and they looked so beautiful. That particular one I thought had a very interesting color. I don't mind at all if you use the photo for your desktop!
