No Snow!

It was supposed to snow today. They were calling for 3-6 inches. I was all geared up to make something cool in the snow. I wanted to sculpt an Easter Island Moai. My daughter wanted me to make a snow witch. Well, maybe next time. Bummer!
So instead of making a real snow witch, I painted one. She's kinda ticked off at my weatherman. Can't you see the look of disappointment in her black coal eyes? Her snow cat's ticked off too.

Oh well, buck up little camper. Onto bigger and "funner" things tomorrow.
We're going to the PA Farm Show to check out the draft horse hitch competition. Can't wait! I like to mill around the parking lot when they're preparing the horses for the 6 horse hitch. Such awesome power and grace in those creatures. I'll try and take loads of pictures! Here's some from a 2 years ago...

Oh boy, can't wait to see more of the heavy horses in harness! They are most magnificent, BIG horses and so gentle.
Those pictures are great and the snow girl and cat are sweet. Hope you get some snow soon; we have had rain here all day. :-(

Hey Jen, sorry about the snow..we got some here.

Haha, your draft pics remind me of a draft horse show we covered in Rocky Mount, NC! I have the pics around somewhere, they are definitely stunning creatures, especially in their tack and gear!

We got your snow here, Jen! But it's too fluffy to make anything out of. Cute little snow witch and kitty though. :-)

Draft horses are so beautiful! **sigh**

Can't wait to see your pics! We have so few heavy draught horses left in England, it is a always a joy to see some. I love our Suffolk Punches.
How funny that we chose the same print!

We're a little east of you and we got less than 2 inches of snow and more sleet so it's still covered here - and icy this morning. I posted pics of our horses from yesterday on the blog, if you want to see them.

That last photo made me smile. He looks just like a regular horse being curious.

The other photos show the power and size of the draft horse. Wow!

And I really like your snowman and snowkitty. Very cute :)
