Lovin' my Canon G10

OMG, if you are in the market for a new camera, check out the Canon G10. I was just in Circuit City and they have them for $399. I bought mine on Amazon for $409. Here are some photos I took yesterday. Please click on the image for a larger photo.

This camera has a feature that will take a b&w photo and pull out a few colors. How cool is that?

Snowdrops coming up in the yard.

Nearly full moon in front of my mother's house. I didn't even know there was a flock of birds flying in the distance until I saw this picture on my computer!

Winter aconite coming up in the yard. Always surprises me to see flowers in February.

My mom's neighbor's little steer. He's so friendly and loves to play with their dog.

My mom's calico cat. I think she's so pretty. I may have to paint this one.

Your mother's calico is a beautiful cat!

I agree - you'll have to paint the kitty. I'm loving my Canon Rebel XTi, but that black and white with some colors feature of your camera is cool.

I wish I were a better photographer, but maybe a new camera is what I need! It's amazing at all the features we have now compared to only a few years ago.

Just by chance do you do paintings of others horses from pictures? If you do, do you have any prices posted? If you would like to e-mail me my e-mail can be found through my name link in the post.
Thank you,
Nancy

Ahhhh, NICE pictures, don't ya just LOVE a new camera??? I still use my Kodak Easy Share camera a lot, use it when I go riding. I really LOVE my new, last year, Canon Rebel XTi but it's pretty big and I don't take it on the horse. Heaven forbid I would drop it!!! But they keep making the pixels higher on smaller cameras, I want more!!! I love gadget things!! LOL

Oh they are so clear and beautiful!! Thanks so much for sharing this info! I've been looking for a good camera for a bit - when I read your last post - I went off to look at the G10's. We decided that when the tax money comes in - I'm getting one!!!! I'm soooooo excited - it's been years since I had a good camera!

Good for you Sarah, I think you will love it! I was just playing around with the video feature today, it was so clear.
I think if you don't have the bucks for a digital slr, this is the camera for you.
