Almost March

I'm so excited, it's almost March, a month with so many possibilities. Will is rain? Will it snow? Is it going to be 50 degrees outside or will it be freezing. Of course it's the month that contains my birthday (and husband's) so it's always been a special time for me.

Any other Pisces out there? I love to meet other artsy fish like me!

So here's what I've been up to this week (I'm really itchin' to paint a horse, maybe next week!):

Working on turning an image that I've painted into a sculpture.
Little bunny in a pumpkin. Nice for Halloween or Easter, right?

Playing around with another rabbit I've sculpted. Not sure what direction this one is going in yet. My husband says this bun freaks him out a little.

Went to Landis Valley today and got to hop on a wagon for a ride.
Too cold and windy to stay long but we had fun on the ride!

Finally finished my Dutch Rabbit in the Jack O' Lantern today!

Those bunnies are great! I love the one in the pumpkin, but the other one's great too, I don't see how hubby thinks it creeps him out, funny though.

Oooh, I LOVE the rabbit with the large ears--he looks like the Nut Brown Hare. You are so very talented and I love to see what you make. :)

Wow - so many cute bunnies! I actually love the one that freaks out your hubby. I ADORE those huge ears and the mischievous grin on his face. I'm no Pisces - I'm a Libra (the scales of balance - sure...right!). Hope you have something doubly special planned for both your birthdays. :) I am so ready for some warmer weather now...rain and snow need to go and hibernate for a bit.
Talk to you soon! Theresa

Love the bunnies... particularly the one with the long, wild ears, flapping in the breeze. Too cute for words.

You're the most optimistic person I know--except my husband, who is also a Pisces. I like to see that you'll be happy whether it freezes or moves up to 50!

I love the bunny with the big ears! That would probably be my favorite!!

Turning your paintings into sculptures? How multi-talented you are!

I like the bunny with the Ears (capitalized because...well obviously...), haha! It made me smile.

I fall in love with him.
Today is my 1. blogaversary.
I am having a giveaway, maybe you want to join it.
Happy weekend

What great bunnies! The 'scary' one actually reminds me of a 'tortoise and the hare' kind of bunny - maybe it is a 2-piece sculpture in the making? In any event, they are stunning, as always :)

Love the bunny in the pumpkin! I like the other one too - no creepy factor in my opinion. But I like bunnies!

Glad you got out on another ride, even if it was chilly!

Hurrah for Pisces!!! My birthday is March 7th. How many of them I will not tell you. I paint ceramics, quilt, sew clothing, needlepoint, embroider both hand and machine--pretty much if you can do it with fabric, I do. I also do woodcarving, garden, mess with my horses, etc. I have something to do always.

Very cute buns! Your husband's comment made me laugh. Maybe he's afraid of those ears - looks like s/he might fly off the table, lol! I like the playful smile:-) What sort of clay are you using? And, Capricorn here, but still looking forward to March. With all the rain we've had, it should be a glorious spring!

I love them both, particularly the one with the huge ears! I am a Libran and we like balance in all things, therfore if one hand holds a cup of tea, the other must hold a biscuit hee hee

Awww it IS the Nut Brown Hare! Just cute =)

March is such a turbulent month but it is the downside of Winter!

Those bunnies are so precious and very creative in the pumpkin. What a fantastic idea for Easter.

Our March is coming in like a lamb, they're saying temps in the fifties. One sister is a Pisces, another, plus a niece are Aries at the end of the month. Then lots of birthdays in April.

Adore the bunnies! The big earred one reminds me of our bun Diggy - he has the biggest ears of the bunch. Bunny in a pumpkin...so sweet. :)
