A old fashioned wild tulip. Similar to the Sylvestris.
More tulips.
The rabbits or some other other varmit ate a bunch of my tulips - boo!
Grape Hyacinth, these grow wild in my yard.
Pink forget-me-not.
The weeping red bud that my husband bought me for Mother's Day last year.
I'm so glad I didn't kill it!
Tilled a new garden in my front yard with my mom yesterday. Planted a Harry Lauder's Walking Stick, I've been wanting one of these for so long and finally bought one over the weekend at Groff's Plant Farm for $22! They have the best prices in Lancaster County.

Lauders walking stick (Doctor Lauders I have heard it called). Thats contorted hazel right? I have one in a pot, it is covered in catkins. I had to leave my last hazel when we moved, so I asked for one in a pot when we came here, so I could take it with me next time. Looking forward to seeing your new bed progressing :D
Isn't spring beautiful? Thanks for sharing a little bit of your spring fling! ;) Things have been blooming here since early last month- way early this year. Now we've gone a bit backwards this past week with cold temps, wind and rain. Hope spring returns shortly, I'm ready for trail riding season!
Hi Jen~
Your garden is beautiful! I love the idea of your Wednesday posts and I'll check back each week to see what's bloomin' that week.

Love those pink forget me nots! Our red buds haven't bloomed yet but I love them. They are easy to grow from seed. Ours really seeded last year so I'll have to get busy. :)
I have a few bulbs with flowers but still have just a lot of new green growth. You already have a lot more than us here in CT! Today is going to be 87!! I can't wait to get out of work!
Hi Jen, I'd never heard of the Harry Lauder Walking Stick plant. I have a recording of Harry Lauder singing fun little Scottish diddies. I guess I'll keep my eyes open and get one now! Love the red bud blossoms. Everything's lovely.

The tulips and forget-me-nots are so lovely. That shadow tree shot is amazing, what a great capture.
That old-fashioned wild tulip is so neat! And I love your pink forget-me-nots! I only have white a blue. Lovely flowers!
Love your photos today. Spring sure helps our souls open up following winter that's for sure. All the blooms and colors are good therapy!
Man oh man I can't even imagine so many pretty things!
Just lovely! We have grape hyacinths everywhere - the bunnies have not gotten to them. We have a Harry Lauder's Walking Stick. We've had it for years and it's still so small. We think we planted it in the wrong area of the yard. At least it hasn't died. LOL My parents gave us a hydrangea plant for Easter - we're going to be finding a nice place for it in the yard very soon. :)

I just love forget-me-nots--I posted some faux ones the other day. I love how tiny they are and just sort of pop up everywhere. It's good to see color again, isn't it?
My goodness all of your flowers and photography are absolutely beautiful!! Unfortunately I can't have any flowers--the outside dog thinks that they are really fun to dig up and lay on :)
