Almost Spring

"March is the month of expectation..."
Emily Dickinson

Zoe and I planted some violas, pansies and peas today!

Also cleared away some leaves and dead plant stems to get the garden ready for spring blooms.
I like the bi-color tulip leaves.

Would you look at these lazy cats. Not bothering to lift a paw to help.

Pumpkin Pie was busy working on his Facebook fan page
and creating his first Etsy Treasury!

Beautiful images Jen! No earth to be seen here yet...just lots of snow still...

Thank you Pumpkin Pie for including me in your wonderful first treasury!

I've got earth, but no flowers. It is the month of expectation. I keep walking around looking for snowdrops or crocus--nothing yet.

Those cats of yours sure look content.

Your spring flowers are so lovely. You must be about 4-6 weeks ahead of us weather-wise. The photos of your cats are charming; they all look like they are dreaming of something very mystical and interesting. And the one with Zoe is sweet.

Love the white edged leaves. How fun to see all of that peeking out from the fall leaves. :-)

I always think those flowers look like little bald men with big mustaches and sunglasses.

Wow, sounds like Pumpkin Pie needs to get off of the computer and spend some time contributing to the house!!! Hehe. Can't wait to see your blooms.

I blurked you and didn't have time to write, Sorry about that! Hope you had a great birthday and I can not believe you are out in the garden already! I walked about my yard the other day and it was frozen. Still waiting for the snow to melt too. Friday should be in the high 60's finally so we're on our way. I guess I figured your area to have the same temperature as us but it doesn't always seem to be that way.

Hurray for gardening! It's still a bit cold here to start, but our crocuses are all popping up. :) Congrats to Pumpkin Pie on his Facebook Page AND his treasury. Purr-fection! Theresa

The first flower photo is gorgeous! Loved the ones of your cats.

We have had bulbs blooming since late February, Bradford Pears are in full bloom right now along with my allergies :(

I don't think I've ever seen the two-colored tulip leaves! Very pretty!!

Lazy felines, anyway. Love the horse picture in the background. Even your cats look artistic, the way that they're arranged, all being lazy kitties :)
