The new camera arrived yesterday or as I like to call it, my second child.
So here's a few shots I took in the backyard with the Canon Rebel T3i with the 55 -250mm zoom.
I finally get that lovely blurred background I have been dreaming about!
I have never been able to acurately capture the purples and
pinks in this Grandpa Ott morning glory until now!
This young robin shot was taken at a very high ISO in low light. My other camera would have had much more noise in this shot from the high ISO.

Fantastic shots as usual! Is that one of those squirrel spinner bird feeders I see? Those things are such a crackup! :-)
Oh Jennifer!!! It takes such fabulous photos!!! I am suffering from serious "camera envy"! :)
GORGEOUS shots. Congrats on the new camera. Do you use a tripod for some of these closeups? My hands are too unsteady, without a little help.
Wow -- I guess I have to get a new camera, too. :) Great photos -- I am already looking forward to seeing many more of them.
Oh Wow! Beautiful shots, will give you endless inspiration! Enjoy!
