Garden Paradise

Longwood Gardens is the best place to chase away the winter doldrums...

Coral Pea above, a tiny flower from a carnivorous plant below.

A type of beautiful kalanchoe above, lily below.
(I used my new  macro lens, can you tell:)

A colorful, tropical Aechmea above, several types of orchids below...

Love these pretty salmon and pink primrose below. They had them mixed with a yellow Marguerite daisy and daffodils. Spring bliss!

"I decided that if I could paint that flower in a huge scale, you could not ignore its beauty."
Georgia O'Keeffe

Canada geese enjoying the sunny day on the lake.

Owl update. Saw the pair over the weekend, they look happy and healthy.
Even managed to get a few good photos.

Love all your flower photos, Jen, especially the lily! It is COLD and snowy here [not our usual weather] so I will warm my hands on your sunny, warm flower pics.
Zoe is adorable in this photo!!!

I'm feeling better. On the mend, at long last. Imagine my delight to discover spring on your page. What a sight for sore eyes. LOVED all the photos. But my favorites were the pretty salmon colored Primroses, your daughter on the bench and those precious owls.

So envious of your macro lens. Your photos are fantastic, lucky girl! The owls are amazing, I would love to see them in person (in owl??) The colors at Longwood are enjoyable.

Beautiful owls! The flowers are stunning, but wow! I love those owls. And those gardens look like a breath of fresh air in wintertime.

I have yet to see an owl, my mom has one that lives near her barn which is right next to my house but I have never seen it. One day I'm going to have to camp out there and wait.... The flower pictures are amazing and of course your daughter is cute as a button!
