Busy Bee

Being married to a teacher is wonderful, he has the whole summer off! We try to keep very busy and at times it seems we are busier in the lazy days of summer than we are during the school year.
Some of the things I've been up to...

Shooting my first wedding!
It was a bit stressful and the temperature reached 100 but everything went off smoothly and I was so focused on the bride and groom that the heat wasn't an issue.

Of course there's lots to be done in my garden. Just started eating big tomatoes this week.
(Of course I'm not eating them, the family is - I think they're gross.)

This week I signed over 100 Christmas Carousel ponies for The Trail of Painted Ponies.
It was Christmas in July at my house... a pony explosion!
Every available space was covered with ponies to be signed and numbered.

I've been attending horse shows. This was a gaited horse show at the Quentin Riding Club.

One of my favorite things to do,  driving around the beautiful countryside taking photos.

And a little relaxing on the Chesapeake Bay too!

There you are!! Have missed your posts. The wedding photos are marvelous, lucky couple to have you memorializing their big day! All these photos are exceptional! Love the Christmas ponies!!! Are you drawing at all??
And how is Miss Chloe? She is probably growing like a weed. Too bad you think tomatoes are gross, fresh-picked are so delicious! Keep enjoying the summer! Hugs!

"Gypsy Mare Studios" has been included in an edition of Thinking of Christmas Gifts in July for 2012. I hope this helps to point many new visitors (not to mention customers!) in your direction.
